Tutti Ftuiti – Kid’s Tea: The Perfect Beverage for Little Sippers!
Introducing Tutti Ftuiti – Kid’s Tea, a delightful beverage crafted specifically for children! When my son was young, he constantly craved sodas and sugary drinks, wanting to imitate us by enjoying a cup of tea. However, as many parents know, caffeinated or sugary drinks can lead to hyperactivity, making us feel guilty for not offering healthier options. That’s why we created this delicious blend as a fun and nutritious alternative!
Naturally Delicious and Nutritious
Our herbal and fruit teas are packed with natural flavours, making them refreshingly tasty. They contain significant amounts of Vitamin C and other essential nutrients while being completely caffeine-free. Our goal was to create a blend that would appeal to kids’ taste buds, and my son eagerly took on the role of our young tea taster. The response was immediate—his excitement made our tasting sessions some of the fastest we’ve ever conducted!
Enjoy Hot or Cold
Tutti Ftuiti – Kid’s Tea is perfect for both kids and adults, whether enjoyed hot or cold. At home, we always keep a pitcher in the fridge, and my son loves to pour himself a glass whenever he likes.
Tips for Maximum Enjoyment
To make the most of this delightful tea, here are a few tips:
- Limit Added Sugars: The natural sweetness from the fruits is often enough, so try to avoid excessive sugar.
- Make Popsicles: Turn this fun tea into popsicles for a refreshing treat on hot days—perfect for enjoying with friends!
A Family Tradition
In the evenings, Tutti Ftuiti – Kid’s Tea provides a warm, calming beverage for the whole family to enjoy together. It’s a wonderful way to create peaceful moments and foster a love for healthy drinks from an early age.
Enjoy this delicious tea and watch your children savour every sip! This charming blend is not just a drink; it’s a step towards healthier habits for your little ones.
HOT BREWING METHOD:
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Ideal Brewing Temperature: 100ºC/212ºF
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Pitcher): (to make 1 liter/quart):
Place 12 slightly heaping teaspoons of herb & fruit blend into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herb & fruit blend. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher, straining the tea. Add ice and top-up the pitcher
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Individual Serving):
Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herb & fruit blend into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herb & fruit blend. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea or removing the bags. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
We strongly recommend using filtered or freshly drawn cold water brought to a rolling boil when brewing all types of tea. Today’s water has been known to carry viruses, parasites and bacteria. Boiling the water will kill these elements and reduce the potential incidence of water-borne illnesses.
