Cranberry Apple: A Refreshing Herbal Blend

Cranberry Apple is an enticing herbal and fruit tea that caters to those seeking a delicious, caffeine-free beverage. This blend perfectly accommodates the tastes of anyone looking for a refreshing drink, whether served hot or cold. Its exotic flavour profile makes it a standout choice.

A Flavourful Fusion of Fruits

This delightful blend combines the tartness of cranberries with the sweetness of apples, creating a vibrant taste experience. The natural flavors from various dried fruits enhance this refreshing drink, making it an ideal summertime cooler or a cozy winter warmer. If you enjoy skiing or spending evenings in a rustic cabin by a roaring fireplace, brewing a pot of this tea is a must!

Glühwein Twist for Winter Nights

For a delightful winter treat, transform your Cranberry Apple tea into a warming glühwein. Simply brew the tea, then pour it into a 3-quart pot. Add a bottle of deep, full-flavored red wine, a couple of slices of orange, a stick of cinnamon, and about ten cloves. Simmer for 15 minutes, sweeten to taste, and enjoy the incredible flavours!

Iced Delight for Summer Refreshment

During the summer, this iced version is hard to beat. It’s refreshing, thirst-quenching, and not overly sweet. For formal occasions, garnish your glass with a slice of orange and a stick of cinnamon. For casual moments, simply pour it into your glass and enjoy it sip by sip!

Fun for Kids

If you have small children, use Cranberry Apple tea to make delicious popsicles. They taste great and contain very little sugar, making them a fun and healthy treat.

Caffeine-Free and Nutritious Choice

Since this blend is a special combination of fruits and herbs, it contains no tea and is completely caffeine-free. Additionally, it provides a boost of Vitamin C, making it a healthy option for any time of day.

Cranberry Apple – what could be better? A healthy drink that tastes GREAT! Enjoy this delightful herbal blend and savour every sip!

HOT BREWING METHOD:

Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Garnish & sweeten to taste. Ideal Brewing Temperature: 100ºC/212ºF

ICED TEA BREWING METHOD

(Pitcher): (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 12 slightly heaping teaspoons of herb & fruit blend into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herb & fruit blend. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher, straining the tea.  Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed iced herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot brew since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.

(Individual Serving): Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herb & fruit blend into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herb & fruit blend. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.

We strongly recommend using filtered or freshly drawn cold water brought to a rolling boil when brewing all types of tea. Today’s water has been known to carry viruses, parasites and bacteria. Boiling the water will kill these elements and reduce the potential incidence of water-borne illnesses.
