Head Harmony (Headache Relief)
The Buddha wisely said, “In our interactions with others, gentleness, kindness, and respect are the source of harmony.” This sentiment applies equally to our relationship with ourselves. When we neglect our bodies—whether by skimping on sleep, overindulging, or pushing ourselves too hard—imbalance can set in quickly.
Understanding Headaches
A headache often signals that it’s time to slow down and reassess. If you find yourself in that all-too-familiar state of discomfort, we have just the remedy for you: Head Harmony. This thoughtfully crafted blend combines a variety of herbs and flowers, each chosen for their relaxing properties and nutrient-rich profiles.
Key Ingredients for Relief
Spearmint is a standout ingredient in this soothing blend. Known for its ability to relax the nerves and calm the mind, it sets the stage for relief. Alongside spearmint, you’ll find:
- Rooibos: Rich in antioxidants, this herb also boasts anti-inflammatory qualities that can help ease tension.
- Lemongrass: Often used in herbal remedies, lemongrass is renowned for its calming effects.
- Lavender: Famous for its soothing aroma, lavender promotes relaxation and can help alleviate headache symptoms.
- Nettle: Packed with nutrients, nettle supports overall well-being and contributes to the blend’s calming effects.
Floral Touches
To elevate the experience, we finish this blend with the gentle floral notes of rose and passionflower. These additions not only enhance the flavour but also provide a sense of tranquillity, making each sip a little piece of mental therapy.

HOT BREWING METHOD:
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Milk and sugar are not recommended. Ideal Brewing Temperature: 100ºC/212ºF.
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD
(Pitcher): (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herbal tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher, straining the tea. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed iced herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot brew since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.
(Individual Serving): Place 1 slightly heaping tea spoons of herbal tea into teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herbal tea. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
We strongly recommend using filtered or freshly drawn cold water brought to a rolling boil when brewing all types of tea. Today’s water has been known to carry viruses, parasites and bacteria. Boiling the water will kill these elements and reduce the potential incidence of water-borne illnesses.
