Raspberry Lemon Verbena (Relaxation)

Are you searching for love in all the wrong places? Look no further than our Raspberry Lemon Verbena (Relaxation), your perfect elixir for relaxation and romance. This delightful blend combines the juiciness of dried raspberries with the invigorating properties of luxury lemon verbena—both known for their love-inducing qualities. In ancient Rome, lemon verbena was revered for its ability to ignite passion, making it a popular ingredient in love potions during rituals dedicated to Aphrodite.

Raspberries, on the other hand, were believed in the Middle Ages to energize the blood, facilitating the flow of love and kindness throughout the body. When you combine these two enchanting ingredients, who knows where your love might lead?

A Harmonious Blend

The bright citrus notes of lemon verbena pair beautifully with the tart sweetness of raspberries. This blend is further enriched with a variety of herbs, fruit pieces, and flower petals, creating a naturally caffeine-free cup that not only brightens the mind but also uplifts the spirit. The aromatic profile is both refreshing and soothing, making it an ideal choice for any time of day.

Benefits Beyond Taste

In addition to its delightful flavour, Raspberry Lemon Verbena (Relaxation) offers numerous health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, this tea helps combat oxidative stress while supporting overall wellness. The calming properties of lemon verbena can help reduce anxiety, promoting a sense of peace and relaxation. Meanwhile, raspberries contribute vitamins C and K, boosting your immune system and enhancing your skin health.

HOT BREWING METHOD:

Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Milk and sugar are not recommended. Ideal Brewing Temperature: 100ºC/212ºF.

ICED TEA BREWING METHOD

(Pitcher): (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herbal tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher, straining the tea. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed iced herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot brew since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.

(Individual Serving): Place 1 slightly heaping tea spoons of herbal tea into teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herbal tea. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea. Not all of the tea will fit, allowing for approximately an additional ½ serving. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing freshly brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.

We strongly recommend using filtered or freshly drawn cold water brought to a rolling boil when brewing all types of tea. Today’s water has been known to carry viruses, parasites and bacteria. Boiling the water will kill these elements and reduce the potential incidence of water-borne illnesses.
